I'll just assume Anew is curious and you didn't forget her anew_redshirt September 1 2009, 11:08:23 UTC
... Asking the boy with the Haro on our ship? I wonder what you have in mind, Tieria Erde.

Actually he's iffy on you too, just because you're new, but not that much in_yo_veda September 1 2009, 16:49:46 UTC
Setsuna and I are the ones who rescued him (well, mainly Setsuna), so his disposition is something of our responsibility.

Also, that Haro belongs to us, it just started following him around for some reason. I think the only one on this space station that isn't ours is the large green one.

I've also had one or two thoughts on the cockpit design for the 0-Riser, when you have time.

I have time now. What do you have in mind?

As you probably noticed me saying, adding a few security features to our units would be a good idea. In particular, I had in mind a security scanner that would prevent unauthorized access. It would have to be based on the Ptolemaios's computer for permissions, but it should prevent any theft of our Gundams as long as no one gains control of the central computer.

I'll think of something that isn't a clone of our old system with Veda later.

Oh, and also, since Celestial Being is lacking in qualified pilots, I had thought we could add the capability for a Haro to assist piloting in the supplementary units, as with Cherudim. While I certainly never plan to send out a unit with an unqualified pilot, the ability to maneuver them unmanned could prove useful. Is there any chance that you could add this capability to Archer or Riser?

[Private, unhackable]

And just in case, I think I'll add an extra level of security myself. Where's that Haro...

Well, one of us has to, right?

Saji Crossroad... just how much use can he be to us, Tieria? He might have some technical skill, but he'd probably never be able to fire a gun at someone. He's a liability on the battlefield. You know that as well as I do.

Frankly, I just want all the non-GDF mechanics we can get. It's not that I trust Saji Crossroad more than them, it's just that his loyalties are only to himself, and that's more predictable.

And having a constantly-whining reminder of my failure at containing the Trinities will hopefully prevent me from making a similar mistake.

No no, that's cool. Don't worry about me. I'll just be out here waiting for you to trust me, alone, hungry, in the dark, and the rain. Probably die out here.

*Saji is escorted to the Ptolomaios where he is to meet Tieria, but once aboard, he is left to his own devices... at least by the GDF.*

...What do you want?

To hire you, actually. You're a qualified technician, and Celestial Being's strategic position is such that we could use another one.

You want me to work for you? For Celestial Being?

...did you really think I would say yes to this?

Did you have anything better to do? You're a wanted terrorist, according to the A-Laws. If you even leave GDF property, they're likely to arrest you and stick you right back in another work camp, if they don't shoot you on sight.
