She could've held me tight so I could throw stars at her

I'm in at work two hours early today, and in the last hour or two of my slumber I dreamt something that I felt was kind of significant, or at least worth noting. As with all of my dreams, I should write this down before it's all gone.

Cut for compactness )

the year of acceleration, dream, work post

hahahaha--"extreme rules" Marco Polo. What does that even mean, exactly? Shards of glass on the bottom of the pool?

I have no comment on anything of substance, other than to say you're cute and stop beating up on yourself, and theat obviously the Abercrombie guy was supposed to represent me. Now, clean my rugby cleats, pig!

I've always heard that when you dream, water is supposed to represent your emotional state--you know, a stormy sea versus a calm lagoon. Now, a pool? And you're swimming in it? And you start a relationship with an ungettable guy?

Hmm . . .

Who knows? Maybe he was indeed supposed to represent you. Gods know that I have a thing for men that are unattainable, due to distance, preference (usually theirs not being compatible with me) or the fact that they're my ex.

And I'll be remiss if I didn't admit to having had at least a passing thought about you in particular.

Now if you'll excuse me... I think I'm a bit too inebriated at this point.
