Why am I not surprised that half the requests I got for this December meme are for Harry Potter stories? YOU GUYS. Actually, I met so many people here through that fandom, and now I'm tempted to do an entire series reread on the New Year. Who's with me?

I loved the story. Narcissa's thought process about family and purity makes so much sense for her character to be thinking, given how we know she ends up in the series. She's clearly a Slytherin, but she's not Bellatrix.

Sorry I'm so late in saying thank you! This is fantastic. I love how Narcissa is obviously the privileged little girl who will grow up to be Narcissa Malfoy but still thoughtful and observant and someone who cares for her family.
