You probably could not call Roger's existence a sign of life. He was rather dead, after all. But it was a sign of something, in the form of a rock star walking down the hall (undoubtedly headed back to his bedroom and April).
He didn't take all that much notice of the man just stepping out of his room, simply stepped calmly around him, all but bouncing as he walked. Roger was in an awfully good mood for being dead. A better mood than he'd been in for most of the last several years of his life, at least.
"Purgatory." Came the bright reply. She was far too cheerful to logically be dead, but... well, having one's best friend/brother and the love of one's life in the afterlife would make things less than depressing. "Y'know, pit stop between life and either heaven or hell?"
