Right after friending you, I came over here to take a peek at your stuff ... and, my god, am I glad I did.

This little fic is just amazing. I think you made me fall in love with Dan all over again. You have him so utterly perfect here that I'm almost ashamed of the way I've been writing him. Wow. Bravo! : )

That last exchange between Charlotte and Dan was just ideal!

Hee!! I love getting him out of his tie too! (and yeah, that totally did not sound right, somehow ... lol) My absolutely favorite line of the whole thing, however, was:

-- oh, but suppose there were piranhas or crocodiles or some kind of crazy prehistoric shark?

I don't know why, but that just was the epitome of Dan-speak (or, rather, Dan-thought) for me. Perfection!! Thank you so much for writing this.

Ahem. Thank you for such lovely comments! This was my first Dan-attempt. He's definitely my fav new character, and I'd be quite happy to divest him of his tie. :P

Well, now that I've skimmed through the titles of some of your other writings (which I'm, by the way, eager as hell to read) and seen some NC17's interspaced among them, I'll admit it ... I'd be quite happy to divest him of his tie as well. ; )

If it's the Lost fics you're looking at, there's only a few -- the NC17s go in an order: Tidal, Fix, Reciprocal. Fix was actually written first -- my first Lost fic EVAR -- but Tidal comes first.
