Oh my godddd, this is amazing. You nailed them both -- College!Juliet is perfect, reserved but sarcastic, and I loved everything inside Sawyer's head about running his cons, however small. That she was the one who got him to read "Of Mice and Men" is a brilliant touch. I loved everything about it.

This is fantastic! You really nailed both characters. Their dialogue is perfect -- sarcastic, and yet you bring out Sawyer's charm and Juliet's hesitance. I love the idea of them meeting earlier and swapping books. And the image of Juliet studying alone in a bar is just perfect.
