AHHHHH, THESE TWOOOOO. ;___; I've missed them SO MUCH.

I was always really curious about their sideways-life, and this is such a nice little peek into that world. I think the last one is my favorite, because the tone is so hopeless and upset, and while WE know that their marriage goes downhill, we also know that David is the best thing to happen to either of them. <333

This has sort of become my head canon for the dynamic between them in that life - she can't really help being genuinely into him, because she always kinda has, and he's motivated by overwhelming guilt over what happened to her in the life he can't remember. This is so not the recipie for a healthy relationship, you two D:

Yes! Oh, David, you classical music whiz ♥ you are so very much Juliet's boy. And we also know that Sawyer and Kate will eventually come and wake them up, which helps with the sads. (Sawyer and Juliet need their own spinoff in which they do nothing but read books and snuggle. I'D TOTALLY WATCH IT.)

Oh my god. This is wonderful. Seriously love the tie-ins with the other universe, especially "I've done it again," and the coffee. Oh, the coffee!

It was also somehow very in-character that he copied his notes for her. I can't explain why--it just seems right, somehow.

Oh, thanks so much for that - one of the things I was unsure of while writing it was how well I was getting Jack down (I don't write him often) and that was one of the things that made me all, "Maybe this'll help? Idk idk idk!"
