If anyone had asked me today what my job was, I would have answered -torturer. Because believe it or not, that feels like what I’ve been all day.

You have my heartfelt sympathies. My mom collapsed just after Christmas and she was the sole caregiver for my bed bound dad. I rushed up there and filled in for her. Changing a 250/lb man who can NOT help you in any way, such as rolling over is hard. *hugs*

Hard doesn't even begin to describe it, no wonder your mother collapsed. Have you gotten a hang of it? Just be careful with your back and shoulders would you!

We've had to hire a service to come care for them twice a day so I could get back to work. I feel horrid for them.

Well at least they have the right tools and technique. You most definitely did the right thing. You wouldn't believe how any family members work themselves to the bone to take care of their loved ones.

Thank you :) Some strawberry bubble tea sounds nice. I'm not sure just what it is but it does sound very good.

I did get to relax a bit on the weekend... until they had another crisis and I was ordered in to work anyway XD Oh well, I got to visit my parents and got spoiled for a while.
