A/N: I blame the gloriousness of Tina Fey and Stephanie March for this crappy almost-drabble. They're just too wonderful not to love. Oh, and Youtube, too, because it allowed me to watch the episode. Over. And over. And this unfortunate little almost-drabble was written in about 5 minutes, so pardon the very high level of suckage.
Liz Lemon is absolutely, totally, unwaveringly straight.
She is only interested in men, no matter how unbearably frustrating and exasperating they can be.
She doesn't admire the way Gretchen’s blond hair falls perfectly to frame her shoulders and neck. She doesn't spend an inappropriate amount of time studying the blonde’s stunning, refined features. And a warm ball of heat certainly doesn't curl in her stomach when Gretchen tilts her head just so and smiles.
And yet, when Gretchen tenderly presses her against the wall outside her apartment and kisses her, all of the lies she tells herself dissolve and Liz finds herself returning the kiss.
Maybe there’s something to the bi-curious shoes argument after all.
