OMG. You're killing me with the food. And the garlic fries look fantastic. I love stinky food like onions and garlic. I'd love to travel just because and check out different shops like you two did. You motivate me to do well.

i have a LJ entry like from 4-5 years ago (when i was in college) that was something along the lines of, i can't wait to grow up and be able to just get up and travel and try new things. your comment just made me realize that I'M THERE. don't worry, you'll get there too. =)

i realize i'm in the minority (Yelp disagrees with me) when i made that statement....but i stand by my word!

i think more people would say something along the lines, "Patxi's is a decent alternative if you don't want to drive to Berkeley." lol....

based on how i eat, if i let myself, i probably COULD get to 300 lbs! after the gorging this past weekend, this week has been no carbs and 4-mile runs. =( the only reason why i work out at all is so i can eat whatever i want!

The cream puff debate rages on! Next time you are in San Jose, you should try Bijon Cafe. They have a Cream Puff with a more whipped cream type center. Satura Cakes in Palo Alto and Los Altos also have a pretty banging Cream Puff. The good thing about Beard Papa is that the cream is more custard like. But it's just a matter of personal taste. Of those three, Beard Papa is last, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't eat it!
