It sounds as though you are the authority on ranged weapons around here. My name is Target, I am newly arrived here and if it's possible I would like to arrange a session at the range with you.

Am I right in thinking that I am addressing Aim?

Well that was fast! I'll be at the weapons stall all day tomorrow, and I usually go to the range as soon as I get off work anyway, so we should be able to work something out.

And you're correct. Nice to meet you, Target. [He's not going to say anything. Seriously.]

[Expect some pretty bad puns at work tomorrow, Aim.

But she already talked about this with Aim and Crochet, so there's no need for her to comment here really.]

That seems like a sound idea. These slugthrowers aren't blasters, but they're not something to take lightly, either.

I bought one from Crochet a few weeks back. Do you want me to fill out the form? Just for the principle of the thing.

If you want to, we certainly won't object. But it isn't officially retroactive since we know we couldn't get away with taking away people's guns.

Might as well; this way if it gets lost or destroyed I'll have less trouble getting another. I'll stop by later on.

Not necessarily. I suppose it could be thought of that way, but it was something we came up with ourselves.

Just seemed like a good thing to do. We already try to be careful, this just added a layer of officialdom to it.

[Arthur isn't happy about this. He isn't happy at all.]

So, what if we've already bought a gun before. Or several. Are we still going to have to go through all this each time we buy a gun or just as a one time thing?

[He makes an arrow up- around the bullet hole- and to the point where he said it wouldn't be retroactive]

Just for the sake of fairness though, we are going to ask returning customers to fill it out- but just once. After it's done, you're good to go. And if people don't check out, well. We can't very well take away the guns everyone already has. But I don't think you'll have a problem anyway.

[He feels a little better, but not much. At least adventurers have a good excuse to have guns.]

Just once, huh? That's not too bad then.
