007 - Some Official Business
Okay guys. Due to certain events, the weapons stall has decided to implement an official policy regarding the purchasing of firearms, drafted by myself and Crochet.
If you want to buy a gun, you will be asked to fill out a form providing us with two personal references, one of which has to be your employer. These references will be asked to make a statement about why they believe you would be a good gun owner (Or otherwise require one for your job). They will also be asked to share in any responsibility should something go wrong.
Once your references are turned in and cross checked (We will be checking with the people to make sure they nothing is forged) you should expect me or Crochet to give you a quick oral test on safety. If everything checks out and you pass, you'll be free to purchase a firearm.
Also, if you are new and don't have a job yet, we may offer you to rent from us. You will be allowed to hire a pre-approved gun from us to use at the range with my supervision. We're sorry, but that means if I am not available, you won't be able to. (But chances are I will be.)
If someone asks you to be a reference, take it seriously. Be honest with them and yourself. Afterall, if you say no, what are they going to do, shoot you?
