I need a volunteer. Given recent events and the reason for which my Inmate is interred in level Zero, I am finding myself in need of time to recover and meditate. An interim Warden will be required. While Iago remains below levels for the next week, your services will not be needed. For two to three weeks following, however, they will be. If I find ( Read more... )

I'd be interested. I'm aware of the recent bit between our inmates. Doesn't mean I hold a grudge or will treat him with any malice.

I will bear you in mind. I'm still at a loss for how this matter should be handled.

Does he have a history of acting as such?

In the first year, more frequently. I had... well, I had thought we were well past this. I had every reason to believe progress was being made. Now I am not so certain.

Given Mr. Eames is already preoccupied with your inmate's victim, I don't think it would be a good idea to place him as Iago's interim warden. If you need somebody neutral and uninvolved in the current situation, I'll volunteer myself-- unless an unpaired warden volunteers for the job.

That is wise council. I...have no real preferences at present. I must consider the matter further.

Take your time. Just know that if your inmate's assigned to Eames, it won't do anyone any good. He's way too invested in "punishing" Iago on Crane's behalf, and he's not thinking clearly.

I honestly think the down time is the best advice. Let someone else deal with him and think it through. Or it's the only advise I can give. I don't know much about the situation between you two.

I consider myself a man of principles. They might not be principles with which every man can agree, but I have them. I keep to them, and I have always held that there are very few things, short of death, that could keep me from my Inmate.

This was a form of betrayal I had thought Iago had more than passed in his time here.

I know he did not act with the intent to slight me. It is simply how it feels. I simply thought I knew him better than this, but if he is still of a mind that he'll kill on a whim and for no other reason, then I have to doubt every progress he has made.
