I loved that! I started a little put off with Garcia, but everything turned out great!! Beautiful ending!!

Thanks! Yeah, while she was geniunely hurt by the fact that Reid and Hotch didn't share this news with everyone (the team does know about their relationship, after all), Garcia didn't exactly go about handling things in the right way - I included her in the Hungry, Hungry Hippos game for that very reason :)

Wow, poor Reid. He was a lot more patient with Garcia than I would have been -- especially after having embarrassed him so much in the office. What a way for the team to find out -- not to mention having to give up limited family time to host a gathering that he didn't want. I hope they eventually cut the guy a break.

I really liked the detail with Jack here -- that Spenser is one of his safe places now and that he's protective of thier relationship. Very nice migration from the beginning of the story.

The team cut Reid a break? Never! :) But they were genuinely hurt that Hotch and Reid never told them about their living arrangement - the team does know about them and has been supportive, and two months IS a long time to keep that kind of news quiet. Especially at the BAU...

I finally broke down and read it all so far (usually I wait for WsIP to be finished before I read). I am so glad I took the plunge.

What a fabulous story. I love how realistic them merging into a family has been.

I think my favourite bit might be the laundryroom scene. LOL funny. Although I loved Jessica coming for dinner too.

Thank you! I understand your WsIP policy, but I promise I never start posting anything until I've finished the first draft of the entire story.

I'm glad you've enjoyed what you've read so far. Jessica at dinner came about because she's such an integral piece of the Hotchner family that a Hotch/Reid/Jack family story almost needs to mention her somewhere, but the laundry room was a personal indulgence (I once lived in a building with a laundry room only slightly better than the one described, and it was too "Criminal Minds"-sy to not include it in a story!).

I never comment on fics. Like... Never. XD The last time I did was years ago.

But I have been following this for a little bit and was ubbber excited to see the new chapter up. So, I'm sitting, eating my lunch at school, minding my own business and settled in to read the new chapter.

Then you almost killed me. XD I was munching on my apple, reading, and I honest to goodness laughed so much I almost choked on my apple. XD So yeah, you almost killed me.

Anyway, joking aside, I love this fic a lot. I especially love fics that aren't all dramatic, but are simple and domestic-y. That show Hotch and Reid and Jack becoming a kind of family unit, I find it so cute. :D Plus, your characterization for all of them is right on target, as far as I can tell, which is always really nice. I love their team dynamic and all the different relationships. (Protective!Morgan, FTW. :D) I normally disregard ongoing fics because the waiting kills me (XD), but I read the first chapter and I was hooked. So, basically, good job and I can't wait for the next
