Bwahahahaha! That was BRILLIANT! Leave it to Arthur to find a way to get a parrot without parrot parents!

I could just hear his voice in this! And Carolyn's too!

Oh good! I'm so glad they came across!

*dances*

I should go work on my Cabin Pressure intro to Much Ado while I'm all excited about it.

Yay! My fic! I haven't gotten to Limerick yet (I nearly fell off the elliptical today during Ipswitch), but I could absolutely hear Carolyn and Arthur, and I have NO idea how Arthur built a real live parrot, but oh my goodness. I'm kind of afraid now to listen to that episode.

(and for that matter...how did Arthur create the parrot?)

lol The line doesn't have much to do with the episode, really. I was just running Carolyn bits through my head to find a jumping off point and that struck me as a rather rich vein.

(erm. I don't really know. While I was writing it was feeling rather 'magical', but now I think the poor bird just somehow wandered in with really spectacular timing. There have been signs in my neighborhood about a parrot theft which involved the owner having his two parrots outside with him, apparently unrestrained [I think this is intensely stupid] and that may have been working in the background of my mind. Parrots on the loose!)

I think it's better if we don't know. The mystery adds to the fun!

OMG, that was brilliant and hilarious - and did I mention brilliant? XD

The voices were really spot-on and if anyone managed to build a parrot, it surely would be Arthur! :-D

Really well done, I had so much fun reading it! (And now I'm thinking I should have asked for something funny, too...)
