OK, I'd mentioned this Cabin Pressure fic to pargoletta the other night, and (as is rather typical for me when I'm not in front of a keyboard) I completely forgot that the reason I brought it up was because in this fic Douglas is a monk who brews ale (the poems which inspired Carmina Burana were penned by Medieval monks).

These monks wrote about love and spring and drinking and how a goose feels whilst roasting on a spit...I think Douglas is cool with this breed of monk...
