...Wait for her? - Mew's last request before the bond severed.

...Yes, I suppose that is for the best, fading out of the things which have happened... but at the same time I wonder if it would be better to ignore it or not?  I confess, in this human state, I have learned - learned much I never expected to learn.  And from the Sohmas I have larned ( Read more... )

So I have a purpose?

Any being will choose its own purpose in life, even a clone.

Yes. A purpose is a thing which will take any being a long time to achieve, even those who are born naturally. To clones like us, it is perhaps an even harder feat, as the identity which we have is compromised in the existence of out originals.

I'm sorry Mew is gone. It must hurt.

Ah... the bond is no longer connected, and in the severing it is... odd.

However, I have my answer, and I know that one day I will likely return to my homeland. To that end... I can be content.
Still...

It is not that they are worthless so much as the fact they were never, under any natural circumstances, meant to be born. They were created and therefore are indebted to their creators and should abide by their more reasonable instructions at the very least.

No, we are not meant to exist - but the fact of the matter is that human failures of emotions - be them greed, a desire for a "Greater Good," a desire to keep something which is gone, or anything else, will result in the creation of replicas. But what endows a greater purpose to naturally born beings - God?

In civilized human societies, slavery is generally outlawed and abolished - a forgotten custom now considered barbarous. Are not clones also living beings, and in servitude to the ones that make them, a type of enslavement? Perhaps... the likes of me and mine were not meant to be created - it is the mistake, however, of you the creators in doing this, not out own. To that end, will will not pay the price for a failure - you will.

Even living being deserves its equal existence and its freedom that was what was taught to me by the most important being in existence to me... Just as a son does not choose his father, a clone does not choose who makes it - for for what.

I don't see why they should feel worthless. I mean really, best to try and be your own person, right?

The whims of human society will often intentionally or unintentionally oppress the right of clones to exist. To this end - the fact they have to claim to existence will often make them question a purpose, and in doing so make them feel worthless.

It is a common misconception "not meant to exist" is equivalent with "worthless"
