Both bands are much more amazing live, but if you're into mellowish indie stuff, they're pretty good on a recording, too.
Did I forget to say in the actual entry that, if I had been a little smarter and faster and had some money, I would have been seeing the Chester French/Panic/FOB/Blink show that day, instead? D:

I like all sorts of music, so there is a chance I will like it. I haven't checked it out yet because there are several children running around, but I will tonight.

No, you didn't mention that you could have been seeing the panic/fob/blink show! Oh that just sucks! I hear it was a great show. That is where the m&g vid I posted came from I think, the show on the 22nd, right? I found a vid on youtube of the backdrop falling on FOB, that was pretty funny. Don't stress too much though, they are hoping to be touring again next year :)

Also, by the time I realized it was even enough of an option to look at dates, I'm pretty sure Chicago was sold out, and Detroit only had VIP tickets, which were, like $222, so.
