Oasis Skinny Roll-Up Jeans (alt colour)
This jeans are seen in a very brief scene in a very Amy-lite episode: Season Six's Closing Time. This is a different look for Amy, very casual but quite sophisticated. It's also one of the most overlooked and unrecognisable, but hey, we give every outfit some love here.
Clearly, this is an ALT colour in green. These jeans came in at least three colours - light brown, green and the SA "cocoa" which is a nice brown. All variations are extremely rare. I know of only one cosplayer who owns the SA jeans! I have no idea why they are so difficult to find because yes, they're nice so people might not be inclined to resell, but they're not that nice? Perhaps it's one of those cases where Oasis simply did not make very many of them. At any rate, it's unlikely I will obtain the SA after all this time so I'm happy to settle for an ALT that fits. I suppose I could dye them. But I kind of like this colour and would like to wear them a lot, so I'd be worried about dye seepage. It doesn't seem worth it for such a brief moment in the show!
They are a nice, soft, comfortable pair of jeans with a very skinny leg. They have little buttons on each pocket on the leg, which is concealed by an outer flap. Each pocket has a little gusset. There is also a single pocket on the back. They fasten with a basic zip and button duo at the front. These are a nice, simple pair of jeans but they run small. Mine are a UK14 and I am normally a UK10 or 12 in bottoms. These are a bit big on the waist and I need a belt, and a bit tight in the knees when I sit down, so there's a happy medium if I'm walking the dog or something.
I have no idea what these originally retailed for, but they will likely be very inexpensive resale from a cosplay muggle and terribly expensive from a cosplayer, given their rarity.
