If Dot's cool with it, I won't say no.

I can make copies of the footage as needed, as soon as I have reviewed it myself. I would suggest getting the room dusted for prints, as the one before me offered. If these people are as professional as they seem, however, it is doubtful they left fingerprints.

Not to be the oogy boogy, but that is kind of assumin' that they're people.

Myself I'd be on the lookout at the next big gift exchange, because I reckon it'll pop back up. Again.

Y'all know anybody with a birthday coming up?

And hell, maybe we talked a little too frankly about horrible things to do to the thing right in front of it, or, for the sake of argument, in front of whatever hypothetical hidden observer is keeping such close watch on the thing.

One step at a time; we can more easily attempt to eliminate or narrow down the coporeal angle first, after all. I don't want to assume a damn thing either way.

As for what we talked about...well. It's part of why I want you to see the recording. That's all I want to say as preface.

I try not to assume anything, as the situation calls for objectivity. However, if it is indeed a person or persons, it is easy to infer that they would be far too professional to leave fingerprints, but it still cannot hurt to try.

Okay. Take a breath, first. Deep, cleansing, non-homicidal breaths, possibly punctuated by good alcohol.

You can steal my good stuff. It's meant for situations like this.

After that, I think it's too soon to decide on an explanation, no matter what freaky-deaky stuff went down around it.

Also, I see nothing wrong with my stuff on my part of the room.

Breathing is good. I'm trying to remember all my silly-ass meditation lessons right now, promise.

There's a reason you're my best girl. Good stuff, check.

I'm...as livid as I am, I'm trying not to assume on who took it, or even why. You're definitely right, that it's entirely too soon to start limiting what we're looking at that way, but...I don't know. Part of why I want the group ponder.

Good to know they didn't touch your stuff. How do you feel about Dash dusting for prints, and this Jack fellow putting in better security?

I'd be in favor of the security and the dusting for prints, although I don't expect anything like answers.

Oh, neither do I, but at least we'd have those crossed off the list.
