I don't even really think about leaving- I can't even grasp it. There is nothing about this that seems real. I haven't even started packing yet- things are set out, for sure, but nothing is packed. because packing would signify leaving- correct. When I was younger, "The Velveteen Rabbit" was one of my favorite books. Right up there with "Goodnight Moon" And "Carl and the Purple Crayon," and "King Bidgood's in The Bathtub and He Won't Get Out." Today me and my mom went shopping for new bed stuff- yellow sheets, white sheets, yellow comforter with pink roses, something with feathers in it- and it really started to hit me that I'm about to trade my queen bed for a bottom bunk.
