After watching Episode 383 of Detective Conan 'The Demon at Koushien', we got the urge to write Yoban Saado again. Been playing with plunnies off and on for the series since about 2003

I love that case in DC. It was practically a sequel for the baseball manga.

I'm still gleeful over them appearing in DC. ^__^
Although in the anime, Ohgane wins, while in the manga, the game continues into an 11th inning.

Somethings interesting, since we're getting bits and pieces of Yoban Saado together for the site and Gosho loves to cross things over:
First chapter, Nagashima's school plays against Ekoda. -Ekoda being where Kaito and Yaiba both attend.
Later on, the name of the coffee house he works at is the 'Kage Tora'. 'Kagetora' is the name of the tiger in Yaiba.

Anyway, will play in this universe later. -any preferences for yaoi/no yaoi? We can go either way at this point.

Heehee, love Gosho and his crazy crossovers. I still need to read Yaiba though, it's the only one of his work I havn't read.

I still have this "I'll read yaoi if it's good but I won't go out and search for it" thing. So I guess my preference is no yaoi, but don't mind either way. :)

(The only sort of dork icon I have is Achilles, but that's more of a classical/literature dork/nerd icon.)

Yaiba translations can be found at Toriyama World(1-3) and EMS Manga (4-7+, new chapters come out fairly regularly)

I must admit, part of me is wondering just how many induendos and puns we can make in the fic. Sticks, Balls, gloves, we have a Pitcher (does he catch too?) and I'm currently eyeing a second on stirrups in baseball... ^^;;

Will go either way, depending on what people want to see. #^^#

I haven't ever read the manga and I still enjoyed reading it. The characters just came to life when I read it. ^_^

Yay! I'm glad the characters work even without the background history. #^^# You probably have seen them, last chapters of DC volume 43 and first chapters of volume 44.

Currently aiming for 9 scenes total (innings 4 and 5 have already been written) and we'll post it to MC1T when all the scenes are done, since it does crossover with Detective Conan in at least two parts. ^_______^

I do remember them from that case but, well, we don't see them as individuals and learn about them.

It was the first time they had spoken to each other since Kohnen High School had won Koushien two years prior.

On the uniforms in both the chapters and the anime ep, they were spelling it Kohnan.

I love Yoban Saado, is such a fun little series.
... kinda reminds me of Eyesheild 21 in a way, there's definate love for the game in there, but it's the characters that make it interesting.
