I hear you on the fantasy fodder topic. But fictional people are so much simpler.

They really are a fantastically stunning green. It's like drowning in a fairy forest or something. *melts into a pool of feminine goo*

Fictional people really are cake. They always clean up after themselves, never fight with you unless you want some drama in your life and if the relationship ends it's because you wanted it to.

Well alright then: *threatens with My Little Pony, Barbie Dolls and lots of sparkly pink hair ribbons* MINE! LOKI IS ALLLL MIIINE!

They are SO irresistible aren't they??? Not least of which I believe because they are so much more interesting from a narrative/drama point of view. Good people who are good, and have been good and will always be good...are honestly god-awful BORING in terms of a good story. It's the people who dance on that knife's edge of good/bad that are the interesting ones! *Blatantly points at Han Solo*

*Also I love how my comment about me finally finding a slash story that I "like" (winkwinknudgenudge) made no impression whatsoever*
