YES! Right off. It was dirty and smelly. Felt is hard to wash on a ship ;) And plus, now he has someone that he loves because he chose to love them--instead of loving them by default for being his first friend and taking him away from the most horrible thing that could have happened, EVER.

Yes, I'll tell you all about *that* particular story eventually ;)
