This is possibly *exactly* what I needed as the end to a long and tiring day. It was sweet, it was intelligent, it was beautifully characterized, it was funny, and it leaves a really good glow at the end of it. The never quite articulated slashiness gave me the giggles, along with Hathaway's petulance.

And speaking of which- you win millions of brownie points for 'po faced'. I haven't anyone use that wonderful, wonderful term with such panache for a long time. ^_^

Congratulations. It was awesome-ness and I utterly loved it.

Oh, thank you so much for this wonderful feedback -- I'm delighted you liked this, and especially pleased that you enjoyed spotting "po faced" as much as I enjoyed using it. :D

Not finished reading this yet but "She and Lianne just cuddled. Chastely. In separate rooms."

I recognise that phrase. :P

awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! PLEASE tell me there is going to be a sequel! The tension between those two throughout the whole thing was delicious and very well done with the whole plot! Really enjoyed the case as well. Fun and emotional characters. So, please please please it's now time for them to 'figure' things out, yes?! :D

I'm afraid there probably won't be a sequel, but I take it as a great compliment that you want there to be one -- thank you!

I really wish I knew the english language better so I could express my deepest admiration for the piercing quality of this fic.
Alas I must restrain my comment to this:
I like it :)
...A lot!
