Abandoned fiction 1: Doctor Who: The sun was shining on the sea

May 02, 2009 14:41

I found a cache of fiction I abandoned last summer -- I'm slowly going through and deciding what to salvage and what to give up. Sadly, this first half of a Doctor Who story, which was meant to be part of a whole alternative series of Donna and Martha adventures, is one of the casualties.

Lots of spoilers for seasons three and four.

Warnings: ( Read more... )

doctor who, will not be finished

Wah, why are you giving up on this? - it looks super shiny!

<3 Thank you. I did the fun part, and then abandoned it for so long that I've no hope of building up the momentum to keep going. Because I am fail. :(

Well.

I'd read it.

I can see where you might have difficulties getting it finished, though. It seems kind of complex.

I'd read it, too -- I just wish I'd written more of it when I was in the swing of things. I think I put it aside for a little while and just couldn't pick it up again. (And yay! Thank you!)

I think I put it aside for a little while and just couldn't pick it up again.

That's basically ninety percent of everything I have ever written. So.

Loved this! I'm so glad you decided to abandon it to the wilds of the internet rather than the depths of your hard-drive.

TARDISH FTW!

Oh, thank you! I'm delighted it makes you happy, too. :)

I am sad you will never finish it, because the bits you've got are glorious . . . but it's all worth it for "the Torchwood of the mathematical world" anyway. *_*

I'm sad, too, but delighted that you liked the Torchwood of mathematics! I remember giggling as I wrote it.

I'd read it too, but I loved getting it in fun-bits snippet form! TARDISH and Torchwood of the mathematical world, heeeeee.

And, oh, Martha. Oh, Donna. *hugs them both forever*

I feel like such a cheat, just writing the fun bits, but I'm glad you like!

Pfft. You're not cheating! You're taking advantage of a wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey plot, that's all.

*logical*
