I am so glad you like! All credit for that line goes to the-girl-who-watched-that-movie-with-us-and-agreed-on-the-slashing-of-the-guys -- she once Judged someone using that idea, and it stuck with me on a deep and visceral level.

I was *just* talking about how Fraser = Carrot, and rereading Chicago's Most Wanted. ARE YOU READING MY MIND?

This is absolutely pitch-perfect. I think everyone who knows both canons has the "wow, Fraser is a lot like Carrot" thought at some point, but you ran with it. Fraser as a dwarf! And Dfn'bkr! Old Dwarvish name! HALF-WEREWOLF! Sorry, I've been reduced to sentence fragments by the wonderfulness that is this fic. <333
