Dink is such a great word. I think the best usage of it was when my dad said hot dogs were made out of "beef dink."

The Yakuza are legitimately terrifying. They got their start running gambling and construction scams and managing merchant carts (i.e. protection) back in medieval Japan. Believe it or not, Emerson's library actually has some great books on them if you want to read up.
