Swagger published a new article about Bradley James. It notes that the interview was done via Zoom, but obviously a team was used to get these gorgeous photographs. people who get famous because of the fan products they make - because I feel like those people are creating very bland, very "mainstream" works that garner a lot of attention without delving into the reasons I like fandom in the first place

I've got one in mind and I've stopped buying her books. Otherwise, all of the people I know were in fandom beforehand (or are still in fandom now) publish novels with LGBT content.

Oh, good point. I have heard of a few fanfic authors who have moved to original fiction and still write imaginative/interesting things with LGBT content. I was mostly thinking of "fan" podcasts and fan art that get promoted on the instagrams etc. of shows. I still haven't found a fan podcast I actually enjoy.
