I just wish that people stopped thinking they have to choose. I mean, all three of them, Sam, Dean as well as Cas have made mistakes. Even Bobby has. But what makes them so interesting is what they do afterwards.
I personally see Cas actions since Swan Song, as the same kind of mistake that Sam made in s4. Starting out with the best of intentions, and led along the wrong path by a demon who's experienced at manipulating both their weaknesses and their strengths.
I just hope that Cas will realize that Dean is right, and that he needs to stop listening to Crowley.
What does it say about the human spirit if you can never like and trust somebody new, somebody who has helped you, and you can only rely on family .... cause lets face it, if your family is like mine then you are screwed.
Well, I think you know me well enough to know that I full-on agree with that last part. :) And I have worked really hard to find ways to trust new people -- people who've helped me -- so I agree with you very much here.
I think that your friend liliaeth said it best -- it's not a situation where there is an easy choice, a clear right and wrong, and a good guy and a bad guy. And I kinda think Dean trusts Sam to a fault. He has a blind spot when it comes to his little brother -- even after everything that happened. So, trusting Cas...he needed to. He had to. And the resulting fallout of feeling betrayed is a big hurdle they're all going to have to overcome.
I haven't seen that post, but I feel your frustration. And I don't blame you one bit.

I believe the poster is basically anti Castiel therefore she cannot see past that.
Castiel is definitely stuck between a rock and a hard place, but I truly believe he is there and always will be there for Dean and Sam.
