[ Good morning, Nadeko! Taiwan was about to make breakfast, but there's something off about the pictures. A new family member! Taiwan's a little excited. She looks so cute... But where could she be? Ah, there she is. ]

It's more like you've opened Doraemon's Anywhere Door, too, I think!

[ She doesn't approach her yet. ] Ah, and his Time Machine, too.

H-hmm, I can understand that. [ Slowly there's a tiny smile now. She can relate to this brother business! ] I already feel a lot more happy and safe knowing that Koyomi onii-chan is here as well.

Right? That's good. Not a lot of people can feel the same way in this town.

[ Points at Japan in the picture. ] This is him. He's smart and kind and funny and kind and um, smart... he's cool and he works really hard, too! I think you'll like him.

He sounds like a good person.. [ She's peering at the picture for a moment before looking at Taiwan. ]

U-um, I think I should introduce myself.. I'm Nadeko. Nadeko Sengoku. It's nice to meet you.

Ah! [ She chuckles and holds the picture close. ] It's nice to meet you, too, Nadeko. I'm Taiwan! You don't have to call me "mom" or anything like that. Just "Taiwan" is fine!

Taiwan-san it is, then. [ OH RIGHT INTRODUCTION BOW she nearly forgot out of nervousness.. And she's sort of wondering about her name but Nadeko figures it's sort of rude to ask whether someone was named after a country.. ]

'Taiwan' is a very.. um, unique name.

Isn't it? I liked Formosa more, though. It had a much prettier meaning!

Ah. that's right. I haven't told you about the nations yet. [ Headtilt. ] There are a lot of us here, so don't be surprised if you meet more.

N-no, I think Formosa is a very pretty--

Uh huh. It's difficult for some people to understand and some people find it a little weird... You can see for yourself if you want! Here, break my nose. [ She leans in and shuts her eyes tight, waiting for Nadeko to punch her. ]

Hehe, that always gets 'em. [ TAIWAN DO YOU NOT EVEN FEEL ANY GUILT- ] Sorry. It's true, though! We're older than we seem, you know. When the economy is bad, we get sick. When there's war, we gotta fight! I'm twice as strong as Japan, so Nadeko doesn't need to worry if she thinks her country can't handle Mayfield.

Japan's been here longer, though. He's always doing his best... so you should be proud of him!

[ Give Nadeko a second to recover from that. She practically doesn't get a little more calm again until after Taiwan is done talking. ]

Don't worry, I think that Japan-san must be a great person.. O-oh, but Taiwan-san has been kind so far too.. I've never met a real country in person before, but I'm glad I have now.

He looks like one, doesn't he!? [ She shows Nadeko the picture again. A little closer than before this time. Ahhh, but she complimented Taiwan, too... She blinks. ]

Some of Japan's citizens are really cute. I'm also glad I met Nadeko! [ Because she's always happy to have friends! ]

[ INTENSE STUDYING OF THE PICTURE because it's.. actually interesting to see what her country looks like as a human.. ] T-that's right! And if Taiwan-san speaks about him so much, she must really like him a lot too, right?

... [ Oh, she might be blushing now. ] T-thank you! I hope we'll get along well in the future..!

[ starts off so enthusiastically! ] Yea- [ Wait, what kind of like do you mean... What are you thinking, Taiwan, of course, Nadeko means platonic kind, duh. She blushes a little. ] Yeah... I really do.

And I hope so, too! [ Taiwan puts the picture back where she got it. ] Well, you don't need to go to school yet, so why don't you use this time to look around and get to know people?

[ Well Nadeko sort of has an 'older brother' crush too, so it wouldn't be too unthinkable.. But she was going for the platonic kind. ]

I'd.. like to meet some new people.. [ Sort of.. ] Um, there aren't a lot of scary or mean people here, right?
