I loved how Remus kept coming back to the fact that they were children, because that's been something that's been haunting me for days. Sirius just always seems so young, and I don't think it's because he's immature, but because he's just not all grown up. A supremely awkward stage. Which you write beautifully.
And I firmly believe that fevers, headaches, bizarre rashes... all help the creative writing process. Mmmm yep.

Seriously, I don't know how you managed, but you broke my heart about 354134 times with this. Sirius is so perfect, angry and hurting and lashing out. Remus is BRILLIANT, no surprise. Sweet and honest with himself, even when it hurts.
And how 'bout THIS:
It is the most awkward, beautiful moment of his life, to see dull London street lamps reflected on the tears rolling down Sirius's face
