Sephiroth was trudging up the small hill, heading towards the picnicking area they had decided on. As he walked, he started to peruse his mental checklist. Sword? Got it. Cheesecake? Done. Assorted homemade cookies? Right there. Ramen? A ton of it. Hot water? Hell yes. And of course, since carrying all this would be an affront to his dignity, he had a clone do most of the menial labor.

As he neared the spot, he stopped prodding the clone with his sword to look up and see if anybody else had arrived.

Mousse was already there-- miraculously, he'd managed to avoid falling in any open man holes, getting run over by a car, or pulling a Ryoga and getting lost somewhere in Timbuktu. He was carrying a bouquet of colorful, fragrant looking flowers and various containers, assumably filled with various dishes he'd gotten from the Cat Cafe, his place of employment. And of course, he wasn't wearing his glasses.

When Sephiroth approached, he cocked his head to one side and stared blankly at him for a moment. Then cried, "Brother!" and proceeded to hug the nearest pine tree.

David, meanwhile, was laying low while sitting on a park bench, waiting for everyone else to show up. Had to hide from those rabid fangirls, you know.

Of course, any thought of being discreet went out the window once he saw the two brothers come into view.

"HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" he called out, practically floating over to them. He scooped them up into a great big bear hug, making his patented ":DDDDDDDDDDDD" face. It was a bit difficult given one of them was embracing a tree, but he was David Hasselhoff. He managed.

Sephiroth raised his eyebrows. Did Mousse just embrace a tree? Then, a man jumped up, ran screaming towards Mousse and his clone, and gave them a hug. While the two were struggling under the asphyxiating grip of David Hasselhoff, Sephiroth walked over to the group (plus the pine tree) to inspect the packages the clone had dropped in its death throes (it was a rather fragile one). Mother would not like it if the ramen were damaged.

Satisfied, Sephiroth turned his attention to Mousse. Well, he seems to be breathing (better than the clone, anyway), so killing Mother’s possible future beau didn’t seem necessary, really.
