uh oh i've lost my identity

in this busy world i inhabit, i've seemed to have lost qualities that people find to be the cherry atop my identity. didn't mean to. and yeah its something i associate with myself. but to be told that it doesn't exsist or its not up to par levels from someone whom i turn to with my confidence. i take it critically. and i know i shouldn't. true i've ( Read more... )

Don't let other people tell you how you should or shouldn't be.
Only you should decide whether or not you want to regain characteristics you've "lost." Its true, everyone changes with time. Determine what kind of a person you'd like to be, and strive for that.

I know I've changed immensely from 4 years ago, 1 year ago, and even within the past 4 months. That's because every experience makes me a teeny-tiny bit more mature, wise, and developed as a person [as with anyone else]. [I know, I'm rambling]. Just don't let anyone imply that you've "lost your identity". Only you decipher what your identity actually is; most of the time its for the better to just live your life fully, and not worry as to how you're supposed to be/act.
