I'm all up for it. I have to talk to my travel companion about what we're going to do, because she certainly has no schedule, and I actually think she expects me to follow her everywhere *sob*. This has to be changed.

What'd you have in mind? :3

Yeah don't take the Shinkansen... Kyoto to Umeda is only about 40 minutes on the regular trains which are MUCH cheaper.

Like Liet, I'm out on the 20th! My friend's moving to Singapore and it's her going away party :|b

As for what to do, uhhhhhh karaoke? XD idk! It's your trip to Japan, so whatever you wanna do, I think that's what we should do :Db

What would I do without you people~? ♥

I think I have to make a calendar for this |D

Karaoke sounds fun :D And I might want to visit some shops and buy clothes. Liet said she was going to take me to Mandarakar at the end of my stay, so I got that covered, I guess? Otherwise I'd like to find some clothing stores and stuff. Different stuff. I heard there was a very popular maid cafe in Osaka that my friend (who's home now) visited while she was there :3

I am free any weekend day but the 20th! Weekdays I work, but if you wanted to go grab dinner or something after I get off, that'd be fine with me.

This is the line that runs from Kyoto to Osaka (or, one of them). As you can see, it's got the special rapids, the rapid, and the locals, in order of descending speed, which'll get you back and forth just fine. The Shinkansen runs without stops and is extra speedy, so that's why it's so expensive. You can take any of these trains, though, for something like 500 yen.

I'm up for anything. :D I'll be sure to find out some sort of schedule and get back to you before I go on Sunday.

The Shinkansen is like 5000 yen, right? :| /does not want to waste money on this. And thanks! <3

Yeah, give the Shinkansen a miss. The slower trains only take about 45 minutes or so, so they're much better, and much cheaper. <3

Anyway, what day/s you wanna do stuff? Lemme know as soon as you know, okay? :D

I think that we're just taking the Shinkansen from the airport, and then we'll use the regular train ^^

And... I'll probably know as soon as I've settled in. Give or take two days after arriving :3 I'll be sure to notify you. <3

Oh jeez, I can't choose :| What is easiest/cheapest out of these?

-Typhoon: Sounds a little interesting. :D Even if I've eaten a lot of curry these days, so that's not really something important.
-Ha Fez: Hmm... idk, is it real tobacco or what? /unsure xD
-A Korean restaurant: I like Korean food. It was really a while ago since I had any.

-Tako-yaki: I've always wanted to try this.
-Okonomiyaki: Same with this :3 I promised myself to eat Okonimiyaki at least once.

Typhoon is about 1000 to 1500 yen for a meal, depending on what you get, of course.

Ha Fez: Well, it's shisha, so it's flavoured tobacco.

Tako-yaki I'd get for lunch or a snack or something -- it's a little small for dinner. You guys are going to be there all day, right? Keep an eye out for a restaurant/vendor with this, they'll be all over the place (especially around the Aquarium, I'd assume).

Okonomiyaki & Korean: I don't know specific restaurants, but I can look one up! Well, I know a Korean one in Kyobashi, and it's okay, but I'd see if I could find something better.

So let me know which one you're thinking of! Flip a coin if you can't decide? |D
