So bored. Should be studying. D:

I need motivation to study. Like a dragon breathing fire down my back or something. I daresay that would work very well. Especially for physics. Maths is less so because I kind of like it, and chemistry and English I have to watch out that I don't become to complacent with or else I'll crash and burn in the actual exams.

Listening to Taylor Swift's ( Read more... )

maths, physics, english, music, meme, glee, study, doctor who, chemistry

I love Jane Eyre (the character and the book). I'm also there with you on preferring Rochester to Heathcliff, butt then I full on hated Wuthering Heights. I would never have finished it if I hadn't been stuck on a plane at the time. Really, all the characters just made me want to slap some sense into them.

Haha, yeah. Heaps of my friends are like 'OMGHEATHCLIFFFF' and I'm like, seriously? Also to be fair, I didn't finish the damned book because I got to a stage where I was literally like *skim pages* *snore* (Y)

HURG, JANE EYRE. On one hand, I hate that I have to read the book for English class and then write a tremendous paper about it that's a huge portion of my grade, but that's starting to only bug me that I have a deadline. I'm actually enjoying Jane Eyre, and I become irrationally pissed off when people in my class keep complaining about reading it when they literally haven't started. :|
I'm with you on Mr Rochester > Heathcliff. I didn't really enjoy Wuthering Heights much, and frankly, I thought Heathcliff was an utter creep. If I remember rightly, he killed a nestful of chicks because Cathy wasn't there to appreciate their beauty or something? I'm sorry, dude, but I do not understand how he's a romantic hero.

And I am also stoked for the Glee Christmas album! AHH. Have you seen the track-listing for it yet? I think I actually squirmed in my seat with joy that Mercedes has a solo. Best voice in the crew, imo. <33

Well, from what I've heard Heathcliff is like n times more brooding than Rochester, but he's probably a tad too Byronic? O.o And yeah, Jane Eyre and Wide Sargasso Sea used to be in this last part of our English course but then they changed it to plays this year. And I was like RAHRAHRAHRAHWHYYYYYYYYYYY. Though they had good reason - it's cause those books are way too well known and markers mark down on it cause they know every inch of the book.

Yeah, there are some I've never heard of before, which is exciting. Cause I love Christmas carols. My favourite is Lea Michele, but Mercedes is a close second. Or maybe Kurt. (y)

Jane Eyre and Wide Sargasso Sea are both books I have to read for class, ha, but I haven't gotten to WSS yet. I kind of wish they would change for that reason, lol, it's so much harder to get a good grade when you know everything you come up with probably won't get you any marks for individuality. ):

I love carols too! I really need to get a proper carol book so I can participate in the services in my village. xD I love Kurt too, but I'm... conflicted about Rachel. I didn't like her for a good deal of season one, but throughout the course of season two I am growing to love her. Still, I can't wait for the album!

Haha, well, I think Rachel the character is very.. believable in a caricature-istic sense. And I adore Lea Michele more than Rachel, cause her voice is just like *blows mind*
