I really enjoyed this alternate take - including the fact that it still sort of looped around to how it happened in the series, with a slight, all-important change, of course. Would love to see how things would continue in this 'verse... Liked the appearance of Balthazar, too!

I've gotten some comments and kudos on other sites, but I'm not sure why no one's commented on this one either.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the story, but I don't think I'll be continuing it- I really can't see how anything would go well, what with everything. And while I sometimes write some heavy stuff, I don't like writing completely hopeless stories, which is what I'm afraid any sequel would turn out to be.
