He flipped it open and pressed it to his ear. "Connor? Is that you?" He shut his eyes. Connor would only be calling for good news or bad news. "You heard about Aidan, didn't you?"

His fist clenched at his side and then he laughed ruefully. "No. No, actually, my email isn't working. I had a slight..." Oh, how could he put it? "A computer malfunction." He swiped a napkin from the bar and grabbed a pen from the bartender. "Give me the info; I'll just write it down. I know -- I should just pay the money and get a damn Blackberry." He sighed and tried to think of what to tell Connor.
"I haven't had any leads so far." A pause as he lowered his voice. "I killed an Immortal last night, but didn't find out anything new."

"I'm certain many of us are trying to track down leads." He was a little disturbed at the disclosure that Duncan had killed an immortal over Aidan's death. "Cassandra and I will be at New Zealand within a week and can be in the air soon after. Perhaps we could have a private ceremony in Scotland to honor the lads."
"Whoever it was, we will find them Duncan. They can't hide forever, and when they make a mistake we will find them. Then we end this, for good."
