That's beautiful. The slang makes it more interesting, and I especially like 2 and 3.

Excellent! Your Jack is very believable and just as delightful as he should be.

The only criticism I can make is the footnotes. I actually had to edit them out to read this because they kept distracting from the otherwise perfect flow. You might consider letting people fend for themselves when it comes to period slang in the future.

"The only criticism I can make is the footnotes."

I thought the same thing, actually. Then a friend informed me she needed a college education and a slang translator just to read my work, heh.

I've moved the footnotes to the bottom of the post and edited out the number-tags. I hope that helps?

I like these. Especially the one with Anamaria. I love her <3

Very nicely done! My favorite is #4 as well, being the Jack/Anamaria shipper that I am, it's marvelous.

You know, I'd held out hope for her to ride in on her own ship at the end of the 3rd movie and save Jack's arse. I just don't think it will happen, however. Tragic, that.

On the bright side of that, we, those of us who like her and write her, can all just blend her in to fic's pre-CotBP and post-At Worlds End, gleeful that she's left the 1st movie, her character perfectly in tact and not turned to some evil monster.

But, I digress.. your writing has a wonderful tone and flavor to it. I do hope you'll write more. I'll be keeping a weather'd eye out. ;)

I love your voices for them. If I've recently seen something, and I read a fic, and cannot hear the characters speak, I consider it a poor thing. But when I can, I always notice, and always love it. The first one especially, I loved. It had that peculiar sort of way to it that reminded me of the first movie especially, a lot of dialogue that could be ambiguous, but subtext that makes it all clear.
