FANfiction for sale?

HAHAHAHAHA. Splat. I remember someone trying to pull this stunt a few years back in the Gundam Wing fandom.

"What's mine is mine, and you'd do well to remember that."
Um. No. No, it isn't.

Thoughts? Feelings? Fornication?

All I can do is shake my head and laugh.

What happened to the Gundam Wing person? Details, dahling. I can't live without a little drama in my life!

I want to procreate with that icon.

I really don't recall, but I thought she had her site shut down via the server before anything good went down. I think bikun might have also been around for that ride, so perhaps I'll poke her for a follow up.

I love Merle.

Awesome. I want to be around to watch/assist in the process. If there's anything I can do to make hell for this girl, please let me know.

Accepting money in exchange for fan fiction is basically illegal as it is meant to be done without profit.

That aside, I second that HAHAHAHAHA.

Indeed. But the question is, what are the chances of the original copyright holders wrapping their hands around her throat and squeezing? Slim.

This is also a good point, and I really doubt it would happen. Therefore the true joy is simply in laughing at someone.

I also find it amazingly pretentious of someone to assume someone would want to pay for their work. I would never pay for fic... I might, however, be inclined to commission artwork from a person.

O__o

What my icon says.

Let alone the legal issue. You need to be a DAMN GOOD writer if you assume people will pay for your work (I don't know this person, so I won't go further on that), however I would like to point out that things as not writing smut or not breaking up canon couples are bif turn-downs for any potential client (unless said client is a fan/friend).

Oh well.
