I just have an Intuos, was like 300 when I bought it -- when you posted about yours, it makes me feel like I need to break out mine. I haven't use dmine in years.

My piddly little Graphire2 has a sort of clear sheet over the thing, and sometimes it lifts up - maybe it's the same for yours, and there's just air getting caught under that sheet? It doesn't seem to have caused any damage to the actual tablet in my case.

The hair-jizz scares me, but he's a pretty man so it's all good.
