The same thing happened to me last year. I tend not to watch shows that are really popular unless I was on the bandwagon from the beginning -- otherwise I just get annoyed by the hype. But something got me to tune in one night, and I was hooked. I never miss an episode now. The House/Wilson dynamic is impressive. Unlike much of what we see on other dramas. Get the DVDs, or download the season... you won't regret it. You may tire slightly of the formula, but the acting and the dialogue are enough to keep it from getting boring. Hugh is going to be hosting SNL on the 28th -- should be a riot. Do you know he has a very strong British accent in real life? And he can sing. Amazing talent.

Yea, I'm exactly the same. I think Jericho this year is the first show in a long time where I've actually watched it from the start (albeit the day after ^^) and that's only because it's PostApoc. But up until a month or so ago, I really didn't have much interest in TV anymore and had all but given up on it.

I probably will download the first season of this though. and add it to the massive stack of stuff I need to watch

Yes, the House/Wilson dynamic is six fathoms of awesome.

Also, Hugh Laurie was in Blackadder and a series called Jeeves and Wooster (I don't know either well) and he's natively british. XD

I knew about Blackadder (because Blackadder is just teh awesome... or a good chunk of it is anyway) I didn't know about the other series though, although I think I've heard of it.

This is kind of creepy, you totally sound like me about 3 months ago! I accidentally watched an episode of House and within a week I'd downloaded and watched both seasons. House/Wilson has pretty much devoured my brain since that point on. I highly recommend you watch it! Which episode was it that you saw?

And NCIS! I have been all over the Gibbs/DiNozzo since day one but nobody I know watches it.

It was the one with the college kid who kept feeling like he was getting shocked and it turns out his dad gave him a radioactive keychain or something.... Me, I was more entertained over House on his motorbike trying to get Wilson to invite him to dinner. ♥

And the thing about NCIS is I love it when I see it, but I hardly ever think to watch the damn show. But a month or so ago I saw the one where DiNozzo caught some mutated variant on the plague and there was that bit with Gibbs at the end, telling him not to die.... Since then those two have officially made me all woobie. (although ultimately Abby is my favourite and I have decided that she has to find a nice girl to have sex with or something ^^)
