30kisses fic. Set sometime in between the first time Yugi whoops Kaiba's ass at Duel Monsters and Death-T. As such, Kaiba's crazy and vindictive and this fic is rather dark and violent. For prompt # 30: Kiss. In which Kaiba gets far too excited at the idea of choking the life out of Yugi.

Can I just say ♥? Because Death-T-ish, crazy!Kaiba is always such fun....(oh...such fun! ^_~), and Kaiba really wants to kill Yugi, and of course it turns him on.....ohhh! *squeeing squeeing & more squeeing*

Heee! I know. I love Death-T!Kaiba to several small bits and yet I've only ever written him maybe a grand total of like, three times. It's something I really need to do more often. (espeically if it involves him torturing Yugi)

Oh...yes, you do. I seriously spent all of my first class re-reading this rather than y'know actually listen to the lecture.... (and did someone say torture and Yugi in the same sentence? XD Yay!) ♥

Umm, Kaiba's fucking nuts. And to Kaiba's answer, approximately 10 minutes after your heart stops beating is the limit on "your brain is mush". I'm not sure how long it is by asphyxiation, but I used the same amount of time in a fic, because it's probably a good safe bet (if anything is 'good and safe' when you're smothering someone). Unless it's a Shakespearian play, then anything goes. (I hate you so much, Desdemona~)

Well of course Kaiba's nuts. It's before Death-T. Come on, it's canon that he sent a serial killer after the Yugi-gang. Not to mention that team of assassins. ^^

(and ulimately I was only mildly worried about the time since this was just a dream, I figured things didn't have to be quite accurate, although Kaiba is clinical enough to wonder)

Yeah, the funny part is, I like both my Kaiba and my Yami crazy. I'm weird that way, I guess. I dislike pussified Yami, though Kaiba can still make changelings explode with his banality at 40 yards. *squishes him*

I like how Kaiba's all "No, he has to be dead. Only then will my victory be complete! Bwahahahaha!"

I also like how it's completely non sexual. . . except it totaly is. Kaiba getting off on power and the Ultimate Victory, and all that~

And Yugi being teh ded. ♥ Oh, Yugi! You're just too much fun to kill/maim/torture~

Oh yes, early manga!Kaiba very much has that whole "to lose is to die" mindset. And I just see him getting just that much more satisfaction out of the dreams where he destroys Yugi in front of a crowd. That's what Death-T was all about after all. Publicly defeating him and locking him in a box with a bunch of holograms in an attempt to break his brain. (and I still smile viciously trying to figure out what he'd do to Yugi after that ^^)

The ending reminds me of all of those Greek tragedies that have the villain kissing the hero as he kills him, be it via knife, rope, or poison. (Which, I might add, makes me giddy inside.)

So yeah - This fic is twisted and awesome all at the same time. Love it, absolutely and positively.
