All right, so two days spent finishing off reading Death Note. Which is the first manga series where I've actually read the whole damn thing. Dragonball I read most of, although I never read a lot of the early stuff. Just from what could be considered the start of "Z" onwards (and even then I was missing a bunch of chapters. Live action L is so~ hot. The actor gets him spot-on-perfect. I just wanna see it subbed, because watching it in Japanese? Not getting so much...

Otherwise, yah, that's pretty much my thoughts. Matsuda's adorable, Mikami is so creepily gorgeous. (and yeah, the women in the series...ehhhh...extra irritation points because the writer might be a woman. They've got a female name but it's suspected to be a pseudonym, prob of a male writer, but...)

And yep, EyeShield is still running, I see it in Shounen Jump every week (all I know is that a couple weeks ago there was a Vegeta clone running around. Definitely no coincidence, it was a DBZ parody figure for sure...) Don't have any interest in sports manga, but what you've said about that one has piqued my curiousity...

Man, yesterday I spent a good ten minutes just staring at the movie's website despite not being able to understand a good 90% of it, just because live action L is that hot. (and I was trying to watch the first trailer but apparently even with broadband, streaming video still hates me
