Immi makes her own fun in mmos
The character creation in City of Heroes is a beautiful thing. There is SO many options for designing your costume and all (the weak link is the actual face, which actually reminds me a lot of the way faces were done in the first Sims game) As such, I have totally made Destiny. Alas, I cannot call him Destiny because this game is five years old and there's only eleven servers there's no way in hell I'm getting a name that generic. I'm going to have to think up another name for him. Suggestions? ^^
I am, however; quite pleased with how he turned out.
Also, it's Children's Week in teh WoWz (which was the first in-game holiday to come up when I initially started playing, meaning I have been playing this damn game for over a year now -_-) Which, as I informed technicolornina and mistressminako, amuses me far more than it should now because I get to have a pet orphan follow me around! ♥ To which the response was: "Name it Mia!" XD
Anyway, I was working on the quests this morning so....
The basic non-expansion Children's Week quests you get a little boy Orc. So I guess I'll have to go with calling him Jace (even though he does actually have a name I just can't remember it offhand). Also, may I draw your attention to the fact that, yes, I totally gave my hunter a pet bird and named it Kurou (although I found ones like that that are more black in the Outlands so I might have to get a new one.... This is like at least the second bird I've grabbed trying to find a perfect one XD)
RUN YOU LITTLE BASTARD! RUN! I am so horrible at taking care of my pet orphan XD
I also did the Outland set of quests for the first time using my Death Knight. And you get a little girl Blood Elf for your pet orphan out there, so I guess I can call her Mia (even though her name is apparently Salandria)
I am sad though. Because I finished the quest chain so now I no longer have a pet orphan following me around. D: Although, I still have to do the basic quests with my Death Knight and the Outlands ones with my Hunter (although with the Hunter I'm not sure if I can pull it off, her level might be just a bit too low yet) so I guess I can still have some pet orphan fun. ^^
