I like that we said the same thing on Meritan's blog only you wrote way more. XD I had the tab open for a while, so I hadn't seen your comment until I made my own.

Glad to hear that shit's getting better! And congrats on getting the middle schoolers. :D

Did you go see the Zuka play!?

Thanks a bunch!!!

Sadly, no. It was a revamp of Romeo and Juliet, but with an entirely different plot, guns, and gothic Tokyo fashion. It was pretty insane, and in the end, Romeo, Juliet, and some original character were the only people who didn't die. o.O?

I am losing it over here. What a way to exercise creative license.

yay for things turning around! :D just in time for everything here to go to hell XD oh well. and I'm glad the elementary school thing got worked out - it's a shame that your guys' idea of splitting it between ALTs didn't work but maybe now that it's in people's heads they can work on implementing it next year :D

Also, really bad play? Do tell~ XD

Well damn. It's because March isn't quite over yet. The month still has to pull out a few more zingers while it has the chance. x.x
I'm glad that things have worked out for me, and I hope that next year they'll actually listen to the ALTs and give us a little say in our own schedules.

Paula's writing up a full report, but it can be summed up by the fact that it was "Romeo and Juliet," changed to the point where Romeo and Juliet were 2 of only 3 characters that didn't die.... Yeah. XD;;;

Oh it's not march. It's april. The final-projects-and-papers-and-everything-goes-to-fucking-HELL that happens every year at bryn mawr :D yaaaaaaaay I am about to have no free time

Hopefully. ♥ being the one's actually taking part in said schedules, and dealing with the kids and teachers, it really makes the most sense.

...huh. I can't decide if that sounds more or less interesting then the actual Shakespearean version I read in 9th grade. Was it gayer?

If it's anticipated and expected, then it doesn't count. Or something. :B Nonetheless, good luck getting everything finished, and don't let yourself get too stressed over the work. ♥

It was certainly more.....unpredictable. ^^; The gayness was probably about equal but in some ways unique. Juliet was played by a guy, just like in the origional play, but apart from that, se and Romeo shared a lot of hugs but no kisses. Then there were some weird additions like Paris being a former servant to Benvolio and them having a lot of UST, and Escalus (who I thought was an origional character but was actually just altered to hell and back) and daddy Montague were calling each other pet names and such. It was weird.
