2 Weeks to Go!

It's nearing the end of the school year, here in Japan. I've been wrapping up a lot of lesson sequences and saying goodbye to a lot of my kids (just for a while, I'll have them again 2nd term next year). Oops. No, actually that was my own Japanese fail. XD;; This is what happens when I try to write Japanese at close to midnight on a weekday. ^o^; *edits*

Unfortunately, a break from school isn't a break from work; it's just a break from teaching classes. I still have to sit at my desk at the Board of Education for 7.5 hours a day, but I'm hoping to use that time to program a web portfolio of my illustrations and cosplays. 8D

Aww that bites. Do all the other teachers have to come in to work too? Way to be lame, Japan.

Yup, it's like that for everybody, though a lot of teachers are kept busy by leading sports practices. I'll just be sitting at a desk with nothing to do. ^^;
