In search of fics!

I am looking for some fics, and I hope my f-list can help me! :)

First off, there's a particular one I'm looking for. It was on my friendslist a few weeks ago, and I meant to read it, but I forgot to bookmark it. It was a multi-chapter Bleach fanfic, with the pairings Urahara/Ichigo and Sado/Ishida, and it dealt with religion, I think? I really want

I had the same challenge, and the hebi fics I wrote were at a time when I was still pretty uncomfortable with writing ladyparts. I think I`ve settled into it a bit more now. A lot of it is just getting used to the language, like you said. I aim to use whatever language that I think the characters would use.

You know, I think that a lot of my problem might be the language I think the characters might use - ha ha, the little guy comes off as very uptight and a bit prudish, the big guy would be able to get through sex without saying a single word, and the girl would probably be able to say just about anything, once she warmed up to it. I hadn't thought of it like that until your comment, so thank you! Now that I have the problem clarified a little, it will be easier to tackle, I think :)

Re: your ladyparts concern, I think Frack has a list of relevant vocab/terminology somewhere, which she used to torment me with - she shd still have it somewhere on Gmail. When you figure out how to do it, let me know - I also squirm at the thought of writing about clits and pearls and nether lips and whatnot (okay, here is where I stop tormenting you, lol. I think Frack had "gardens of pleasure" in there!!).

Oh! I will hit her up for that list, and hope she still has it :D I've run across some very un-tasty euphemisms (cunny? clamshell? meat curtains? o_o) for female sexual organs, which is a big reason I'm asking for recs instead of just going out and wading through the internet in search of tasteful - but still hot! - smut XD With the 1% rule, I would have to dig through a loooot of crap to find a good example, I'm sure XD I will let you know if I strike gold! <3

"Cunny" makes me flashback to Lady Chatterley's Lover (and irrc he used "cunt", as well, many times). Now that was, er, pretty excruciating het. I must say I read (avidly even!) to the end - I think with DHL, you have to not take him too seriously to enjoy.

I don't read a lot of NC-17 het fanfic, but I adored Jacqueline Carey's profic Kushiel's Dart, which Frack put me onto - it was very hot (and I think there might be a threesome in later editions)...

ETA: Okay, and I actually enjoyed Harold Broadkey's short story Innocence, which is 20 pages of detailed (and hilarious) heterosexual cunnilingus and sex, from a harried male protagonist POV. May not be for everyone - he's been compared to Updike, but IMO he is a much better prose writer. I tried to find you an online extract but sadly that is unavail. I would email you a PDF if you were interested.

XD I had someone elsewhere tell me to remember that cock and cunt used to be the go-to words for genitalia, in the old days... somehow, that still doesn't make me comfortable with cunt, though. Maybe because it's used as an insult a lot, idk.

Oh, I have one or two of the Kushiel books, I think! Hmmm, one of them might be holding up my bed frame... I don't know why, but I didn't even consider profic. Probably because it costs money XD

And that sounds hilarious XD I'd like to read it - but not if it's a lot of trouble, okay? <3 I know you've got a lot going right now, and I have plenty of other things to read at the moment :)
