A Working Girl's First Leather Handbag

Nov 24, 2007 22:01

Hitherto, all my handbags have been canvas and $15. I do have one that's made of a leather-like substance. It was also $15. Now that I am a working professional, however, I thought I should get a real leather handbag. Recently, I bought two similar ones and I can't decide which one to return.

Both look good to me, but I'd choose the 2nd one =)

Hmm...I like the one on the left. It looks more classic to me, and it's something I would use. Actually I have very little purse-sense. I absolutely do not understand purses. When people say a purse looks "cute," I look at it and I'm confused. I understand classic lines and colors and stitching patterns, but beyond that, I don't really understand purses, or what makes a "great purse."

I know no more about purses than I do about girls so I have no clue, but the title of your post sounds so wrong yet so funny :D

I think I like number 2. It seems to have that classic purse look that shouldn't go out of style anytime soon, I think..

Aesthetically, I'm more into the second one. More than anything, though, I'm an advocate of carrying lots of things around. Then again, I'm giving myself back trouble. In the end, I would have gone for the one made out of orange fake-alligator-skin, shaped like a huge doodie. But that's just me
