Played basketball yesterday. First quarter was appalling. As in, I was the only person on my team that scored. End of the quarter, score was 42-2. Game picked up after that - which was sort of weird, 'cause we only had six players, so you would have thought we would just be dead

Ha! There were something like 6 ninjas in all the world who seemed to be older than 60 and Sandaime was one of them still going strong at that time. Chiyou and her brother were borderline senile and decrepit. Danzou's messed up still. And Koharu and Homura... well, they're whiny and don't seem to do much other than nag.

It's good to see Sarutobi displayed as the sharp, confident ninja he was in most of the manga. It continually surprises me that nobody who ever goes back in time in these fics ever seeks him out immediately. Come on, people! "God of Shinobi!" :-D Oh well, he almost always finds out anyway. Because he's awesome like that.

I like this scene so far. Sasuke isn't normally seen interacting with vary many people even though we see flashes of Sandaime hanging out with all the kids at some point. I'd love to see more of this older, more mature Sasuke talking with the Hokage, especially now that he's not so driven and sullen to just ignore it out of turn. And they even have Naruto to pseudo-bond over.

Oh man, too bad you cut short at this point, thats a helluva cliff you left us hanging offa. And I'm happy to see someone portraying Sarutobi as the intelligent, cunning and overall dangerous ninja he is. He only ever seems to get presented as some sorta ninja Dumbledore, if not worse. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how he knows Sasuke was an Uchiha, or even if he knows specifically WHO he was/is. Looking forward to more of yer stuff.
